There are several channels that expert IRC users steer away from in the course of their chats. Following are the channels, and the reason you probably want to stay away.

 

#dogsex - Woof.

#/punoftheworld - This channel is ruled by Shakes, and usually he's the only person in it. He must have fun in his own little world, where he's the ruler!

#poetry - Nobody there ever has any talent.

#teen - Their topic says "IT'S FRIDAY SINGLES NIGHT!!!!!" Enough said.

#kids - No kids here. Only pedophiles.

#usa - Going in here invites messages from Philipinos and people who want you to help them get a green card and/or marry you.

#texas - I guess we're the only decent Texans around. Everyone else on the channel basically sucks ass (especially SLICKGUY and beccers)
